Have a small circle of friends and don’t see or speak to any of them. Be a Man.
I laughed, probably because it is uncomfortably familiar.
We often try to solve everything ourselves. Think a little more. Analyse a little more. Find the answer alone.
But the truth is that other people have already grappled with most of the problems we face.
Often, someone in our network has made the mistakes, found the solution or at least learned something that could save us time.
So perhaps a better question than:
How do I solve this?
is:
Who knows this problem better than I do?
A network is not just about who you know.
It is about whom you trust enough to say:
“I do not know. What would you do?”
